Our thoughts of Derek always begin with his kindness and consideration. When you met him he always seemed to be coming towards you, his first concern for you, never to tell you about himself. Over all his many activities, we enjoyed sharing some; but his range was so great among so many circles of friends. He was often the quiet organiser, arranging projects and outings, always the one who checked up on anyone who might need a little help, throwing himself in to the fray, dressing up with enthusiasm if needed, giving 100%. We will miss him in many ways. But we will remember him always, in our minds he will be giving us that quiet little smile and that familiar chuckle. Lots of love and cuddles from Kingsley & Simmi xxx
