We,the Popes ,were on holiday in the south of France. We were camping(euro camp) several times a day I went to the communal washing up place.So did Derek (they were Key camp not as up market as us.....this has always been a running joke as they always said the opposite).Anyway, back to washing up Derek and I began to chat-----the merits of Fairy liquid over Supermarket own brands and how clement the weather had been.We soon introduced our non domestic other halves and a bond was sealed when Natalie announced she had just met a nice girl called Sexist!!This was in 1982 we have been close friends ever since. It is impossible,at the moment, to envisage life without this kind,gentle,funny man He will be much missed and forever in our hearts
